The Board is satisfied that Mr. James Jung possesses the requisite qualifications, experience and leadership capabilities to serve as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Jung has extensive experience in hospitality real estate investment and asset management and has been closely involved in overseeing Acrophyte Hospitality Trust's U.S. hotel portfolio. Following a succession planning process and receipt of approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Board approved his appointment after carefully considering his qualifications, experience, competencies, leadership qualities and suitability for the role. The Board believes that his appointment will provide leadership continuity and support the ongoing execution of Acrophyte Hospitality Trust Management Pte. Ltd. and Acrophyte Hospitality Business Trust Management Pte. Ltd.'s strategic, investment and operational objectives.
